Muffin Top Baking Pan BAKING QUESTION About Toasted Coconut?? How To Keep From Burning When It's On Top Of Something??

BAKING QUESTION about toasted coconut?? How to keep from burning when it's on top of something?? - muffin top baking pan

I came with a recipe of my own. I use a muffin pan for baking a cake individual style ..... be covered with toasted coconut.

Here's the thing ..... I want the coconut paste to the top of the cake, but you do not want to burn.

If the first toast coconut? And if so, I would be in the top flight before cooking or cooking? I can not do it later, because I do not think it will remain.

If I do not do it, toast the coconut first, there would be an optimal time to put on top of the cake from the bakery, so that the toast in the oven?

I think I will give the introduction and toasted coconut cake on the baking pan and interim paper .... Hope that does not burn.

Any idea or suggestion?

I Pretoasted coconut, but not placed on the cake in the oven halfway.
In baking, sprinkle the top with a little melted butter (low), and smeared with coconut. It needs to be adjusted with ease. There you will have.
